Competition advice

in Romania, competition law regulates fair play between traders. If you believe that a rival company is unfairly competing with you through certain abusive acts, you have the right to bring an action against that company before the Competition Council and obtain an injunction to stop the unlawful act and damages for the harm caused.

For example, a large company does not have the right to impose certain conditions on its co-contractors, making it more difficult for them to deal with other rival traders. The Competition Council, the only authority responsible for enforcing competition law rules, can fine companies that break these rules and apply complementary sanctions where appropriate.

To ensure that your dispute is resolved in an effective manner, call on our team of business & commercial lawyers, and we will represent your interests before the Competition Council.
