Service offenses and corruption

Corruption and service offenses can be committed in several ways, including; “Bribery” – Art. 289 Penal Code; “Bribery” – 290 “Misconduct” – Art. 296 Penal Code; “Abuse of office” – Art. 297, etc.

Offenses of this type are exhaustively provided for in Title V of the Criminal Code – Special Part, from art. 289 to art. 309 and may attract penalties of up to 15 years imprisonment.
